That little worm on the top of the old part is not supposed to be there... somehow, this guy puked his guts out.
And the worst part is that the service manual specifically says that to remove the expansion valve, you need to remove the HVAC airbox; so after draining the coolant, separating power steering lines, removing the undertray, removing the frame brace, and basically spending another four hours after removing the clam, I found out that all I had to do is remove the two allen head bolts holding the expansion valve in place - the back plate that the bolts screw into was stuck to the pipes and stayed right there, didn't fall into the airbox! Shoot me now!

All jokes aside, If we're talking about collectors I would assume it has to do with the fact that a 2zz has to push 400bhp worth of exhaust through a single 3" collector from a single header while a 2GR has 2 collectors from 2 different headers off of 3 cylinders only contributing half the total horsepower. 2.5" piping was probably shown to provide adequate flow for the required exhaust volume while maintaining velocity for scavenging.

Why does BOE use a 3" header on their 400bhp 2ZZ TVS1320 install but a smaller 2.5" header on their 400bhp V6 install?

Well there was a guy I ordered a new mid-pipe from a while back, on a Sunday I was told over the phone that it was shipping out Monday. I'm just not sure which year's Monday that was going to be.

Finally got around to fitting the cf seats.
Firm but around 1/3 the weight of the Recaros. Goes with the gold wheels though the rest of the interior is red thread!

Tell me again why BOE use a 3" bore on their 2ZZ TVS install (approx 400bhp) but only 2.5" bore on a 400bhp V6?

|tye-bo||I tried to install the Top Speed titanium exhaust on my E400, whelp guess what has a different exhaust diameter? That's right the E400. Anyone want to buy a titanium exhaust for an S1? I removed the bluing so I can't take it back. UGH!|
