tvacc One I think did go for $7500, but I believe that was before the big rise in aluminum prices. Back then these were selling for like 12,000 new. Now they are more. It appears to me that Montrose has been pretty fair on pricing with their increases tied to the rise in materials cost. Still have mine and still would consider selling for the right offer. I still want a larger enclosed to haul 2 Caterhams at least.

Tasracer I too am looking

There was a mint one on this forum that went for 7500

That ad is what introduced me to montrose trailers

Very cool trailer. I have never seen one like it. The full clam is like an engagement ring box for your car. It seems like tying down would be easy since it is unobstructed....mostly. I have visions of using the trailer to get out of the direct sun and/or rain at times. It seems like it would not be as good for that sort of thing. thanks for posting the pics! Love the Lotus emblem on there too!

Cool, thanks. They are intriguing.... I would like a regular enclosed trailer, but one of these would probably work great for me.

tvacc I have one of the Montrose full clamshell trailers.

I would consider selling it to buy a larger trailer to fit two cars.

I will post a picture of it tonight.

Out of curiosity, what's one, new, set up as in Ross' vid run? $12k? $15k?
It was about 16K, including delivery from Michigan to Washington DC area. This one is extra wide. I can pull in and out of it with my eyes closed

Don't know about Chuck.... but I would write RBH a check for 10K and come pick his trailer up Sounds like I would be standing in line for that deal.

rnr Have you considered a Serpent Express trailer? Its basically an open trailer with a Vinyl top that fits over a metal frame. Not as secure as a Montrose but is covered and will be easy to pull

I think they are that much - but it's not mine, it's RBH's (sorry I can't remember your name, I'm so terrible with names!). Mine is a trash barge like yours
