I wasn't sure how to uninstall the air vents (new car with leather dashboard ) so I've chosen another more simple way: a self-adhesive 3.5 mm chrome decor stripe. Aluminum decor would be nicer but could find a small aluminium decor.
I also installed a Carbon Fiber steering wheel column cover, aluminium turn signal levers and excellent and fitting Rubbertite floor mats from the US. Now the Exige V6 finally looks as pricey as it is LOL
Sure there's a small gap at bottom where you cut the decor stripe, but hardly noticeable, a cheap and effective mod. Should be a 3,5 or 3mm stripe to not stick out
But I'm still wondering why no one offers aluminium, chrome or carbon surroundings for this air vents, they are used for 20 years now on Lotus, Alfa, Wiesmann, Venom...

Wow... the designer of those vents sure is getting a lot of use out of them. He must be super proud
Speaking of AC vents... :

I have no idea, but I'm sure you can pop it out some way.
Anyone remembers the German sports car manufacturer WIESMANN ?
Guess what I've found

OMG thank you for the PSA! I've been looking for these for the longest time and I was almost considering just carefully painting mine.
Out of curiosity, how much work is it to replace these? Do you have to disassemble the entire dash? Or is there a way to pop these out with everything else intact?

(a) I had my far left vent ring separate from the base and I can't for the life of me figure out how to reattach the center "stump tower"...
(b) When I was trying to reassemble the above vent I noticed the inside was literally covered in grime and crud (ewww)... and...
(c) I think that these will look outstanding with my full carbon interior!
Woot - great find!!!

I know, it's an old post but I finally found the original air vents and chromed air vents used by Lotus and Venom.
They are made by Alfa Romeo (!) and used on older Alfa 147, 156, 166, Spider and GTV. And now Alfa uses them again for the new Alfa 4C coupe and spider.
Alfa made two identical versions of it in the 90s, with and without a chrome ring. The rings are not sold separately.
You can still find new ones with chrome for only £9.99 each ! (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuin...item566696e9e1
Lotus uses the one without chrome for Elise and Exige and with chrome on Europa and Evora. Same one is used with the Venom GT.
Old Alfa 166 and new Alfa 4C:

A124U0152F is the part number you want.

They are Lotus Evora vents.

|MConte05||Search Europa Trim rings or something similar. Someone got a part number. To do all 4 vents would cost around $240 IIRC.|

CHROME VENT RINGS OF THE VENOM GT
Hi guys, does anyone know where to get such chrome airvent rings as on the Venom GT?
