|zx9rpilot||Any new updates from those that have upgraded with the new gears? I am considering a rebuilt transmission, as I am around 100,000 miles currently. Thinking it would be a good time to make some improvements.|

|kfennell||I haven't broke a gear in over 1300 track miles, most with slicks. That might be a record for me. Did break a clutch though. Stupid springs.|

Still waiting for my car to come back from the body shop... and the transmission is still in my garage waiting to be installed...
Any additional feedback from those who have installed their new box?

No Fred, no complains about your web site at all.
Just trying to know the score without reading the whole thread.
Complete, custom builds only then. I can understand the technical reasoning for this.

I added more meat to the product page on our website. Extended information has lots of techie details for fellow gear nerds like me.

Cain-It and San, you are pointing out that my web maintenance sucks! Thanks, but that is a Capt. Obvious award, unfortunately I'll work on it today. Because there are so many options, each trans build will be a conversation, not unlike an engine build. However, there will be more information available and deposit area for trans builds.
A few updates:
Our gearsets will be sold only as part of a transmission build. This way, we control the quality. Attention to detail in the assembly is critical. Some years of these gearboxes are different than others and the details are subtle. Cain-It, ping me via email to discuss your situation, if you like.
I've developed a pretty painless way to ship us your transmission! I commissioned some re-useable crates. They are space/weight optimized to be shipped via regular ground vs freight. So you can send it with UPS or FEDEX, even have them pick it up from your shop or house. Because insurance is such a big part of shipping expense, shipping the empty crates to you and then back from you is pretty cheap ~$20. These secure, padded crates make shipping your transmission so much easier than before. Once you receive your transmission, contact us and we'll send you a label to slap on the crate to send it back. Easy as pie.
Lastly,I have also been building a transmission database for every gearbox we run through our shop. I maintain a history from receipt inspection to final build. We serialize each box that leaves the shop. If ever anyone needs to know what was done and when, We have that data.
