How does the Lotus Elise do on the built in speed bumps like the ones in the Tabor area of SE Portland?

Korntera There is a racetrack off I5 called Portland International raceway and there are lots of track days too!
I instruct with Hooked on Driving if you have not been on a track before.

Mr.C I did a two hour run yesterday morning out to Vernonia and back.
There were almost no other cars on the road, and the weather was absolutely perfect early in the day

Gixxer Cross the Columbia to Carson Washington, hit Wind River Road, then Forest Road 25 to Randle. Forest Road 99 is a good sidetrip to Mt. St. Helens. Escape back to I5 using Highway 12.
North stretch of FR25 is bumpy.
No problem if you have an Esprit....
Conceivably, you could take Hwy 12 to Yakima, then south to the Columbia again, hit Rowena loops, then back to Portland.
To avoid coppers, do FR25 on a weekday. in the summer or autumn.
Pic shows Rowena near the top.

Mr.C I just moved back to PDX after being gone for 6 years.
If I go for a quick (1 to 2 hour) drive I take Skyline Blvd. most of the time.
McNamee turns off Skyline down to HWY30 and is a fun road. Most of those roads off of Skyline are good with minimal traffic, but some of them are a bit bumpy.

If you go out towards the coast then there is HWY202 from Vernonia to Astoria which is fun.
Further down south on the coast there is HWY22 which is great.
And there are some good roads in wine country around (HWY219, Bald Peak Rd, ...).

But my absolute favorite is still HWY53, which connects HWY26 and Nehalem.
