cyow5 Alright, so it looks like the original owner did do the heater bypass mod. That also explains the toggle switch I found in the car at one point but wasn't connected to anything

cyow5 I can't find anything like this in the parts catalogue or the service manual. I've seen threads about a heater core bypass mod, so I am going to read those and see if maybe that's what someone did here.

After leaving this for a day, it definitely looks like my coolant leak is coming from one of the clamps, so I'm letting it drain out a little more before I start pulling stuff out.

Doge Not sure what the vacuum solenoids are for, but that looks like that would be your water/heater valve which for some reason I can't seem to find in the catalog.

Heating and AC hose routing

Alright, so I inherited a nightmare from the previous owner(s) when it comes to the clutter under the front clam. Can anyone identify the following in this picture:

1) Electrical solenoid at the top of the image that doesn't have a connector

2) This solenoid has an open nipple. Is this normal, or is something missing?

3) what is the vacuum solenoid at the bottom

4) See that little bit of coolant residue near the vacuum solenoid? What are those hoses that go to that junction right there?

Anything else I need to know?

Thanks!
