ACCEL Darksol, I've been following your blog and I'm under the impression you've changed your car color from Midnight Silver to Tesla Midnight Silver Metallic, which I'm think of doing to my Starlight Black Metallic 2007 Elise. Toss up between the Tesla color you chose and the Storm Titanium Metallic. Car is new to me so the pics are from the dealer.

I'll need a do-over on the wheels to complement the paint change. Short version is I really like what you've created with your Elise.

Despite the serious performance, that is an awfully happy looking car.

Are the BSK Chronos 17x9.5 really 7.0 kg / 15.4 pounds?

white out I was not a fan of these when I first laid eyes on them. But my girlfriend loved them, so she made the plunge. I have to say I have changed my mind, Ethos look great on the Elise/Exige.

Kukadog Just bought rare RGB wheels for my Elise. I have only seen pictures (haven't received them yet) but I love the way they look. The fact that they are rare and OEM wheels are bonuses for me. Will post pics once I have them on my Elise.

chuck_risen I like my LSS wheels. I have never seen another set painted like them.

Done, Thanks for posting, those wheels look really nice on an AR elise.

So would many of us. They are patterned after the WedsSport TC-105N, which are a complete dream.

darkSol I'm probably a bit biased with the TR Motorsports F1

Lightest things ever! 10.5 lbs. front, 12.0 lbs. rear.

(protective plastic cover is still in place on windshield for those who are wondering)

VisualEchos I think it depends on what you're after. Some wheels make the car look heavy, others make it look light or mean, or even classy. My favorites have to be the LS 240R wheels though, and the finish, and barrel finish are just pure Lotus jewelry. I think it also matters what tire, size and stance you choose.

fast+forward Forged 2pc Work RSZ-Rs, but wouldn't know where to find another set of 17x9 in 4x100 though. Those are super rare.

Actually, yes they are, because they are larger (fronts). The rears 'Y' wheels are slightly heavier than base, the fronts much more so.

Since you said you were interested in the darker finishes, I thought you might like them. That is the "anthracite" finish:
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 Wheels, Lotus Wheels - Blackwatch Racing

Compared to black, I think they show contours a bit better.
