Canadian 7 Does anybody have any info on this car? Trying to find out who and where the car was first registered. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

carphoria It's also worth noting, for anyone interested in fitment, while the seats are fixed, the pedals are on an adjustable rail. I'm 5'8 and fit just fine in mine. The previous owner to me was over 6ft, and didn't have a problem.

Canadian 7 Very interested but too much of a “virgin” to send pm on this site. Maybe you can pm your email to me so I can contact you. If your ok dealing with a virgin!
Thanks in advance.

LotusGuy48 I owned Number 4 for several years which was basically the first production model as the first three were prototypes. I agree they are a blast to drive and living in Florida I could almost drive it year round sans roof. I think the factory 0-60 time was in the 5's if I remember correctly.

My wife wasn't exactly a fan of the car, she always had a bad hair day, so after a few years I ended up selling it to a guy in Michigan who bought a one-way ticket to Orlando and drove it home which I'm sure was quite a "getting to know you" trip.

GLWS.

Also, for those interested, the roof can be rolled into a "t-top" configuration, if you'd like. I found that driving in "t-top" mode was very comfortable while having weather protection at the ready.

Also, an incredible amount of trunk space. Two helmets, track-chair, and more fit in there.

GLWS, great 7!
I've actually never used T-top mode but got pretty quick with assembling the top when our rainstorms suddenly pop up

FS: 2002 Superformance S1 (Lotus 7 replica)

Such Funning. Many Wheeeeee!

What is it?
2002 Superformance S-1
This car is number 35 of 54 produced.
Similar to Caterham, Westfield, or Birkin; this car is a replica of the infamous Lotus 7. This car is a factory production and is not a kit.

Mileage:
28XX

Curb Weight:
1430

Powerplant?
Ford 2.0 inline 4 cylinder Ford Z-Tech
Ford T9 5 speed manual transmission
Webber side drafts
160 HP
0-60 in “who cares? This is a blast!”

Extra goodies?
Comes with soft-top roof and carrying case
Comes with doors with side mirrors
Comes with 2 sets of wheels
-factory silver S1 wheel
-black Katanas
Build book (neato documentation of the Superformance story and build history of the S1)

Why do I need this?
Fun

This car makes people happy. It is as much fun for the passenger as it is for the driver. It’s completely visceral and offers a truly unique experience. You sit so close to the ground that you can touch it. The engine and exhaust produce sound so rich and beautiful that you don’t want a radio. It responds instantly to your input and you can feel its every move. This car makes everyone who sees it smile, give the thumbs up, giggle, beam, etc. This car could legitimately spread world peace.

Has ample trunk space. Both doors and the roof will fit with a little extra room for a few grocery bags and a purse (or cases of whipped topping-it’s not my business what you do with it).

If you know what you’re doing behind the wheel and want some more excitement in your life, prepare for amazement.

The downside?
Small gas tank
Not the best in inclement weather

Asking $25K

Thanks for looking!
