. I cannot speak for them but much of their focus was making high quality cf parts for Lotus Cup cars in the US, most box that stuff is primed and painted. Thus getting a natural UV protection. Exposed cf while being able to be as light a weight (if made with same 'pre-preg' and vacuum formed molded) is very focused on the cosmetics and lay of the top layer ,this actually means that for expense control most consumer cf parts are really produced from a higher resin (non preimpregnated) (and heavier) lay up of glass fiber with a top layer of cf cloth but beneficially use a thicker/higher quality UV clear coating. The market offers both, read the fine print.

Never did I get a ďSorry we got this wrong, but weíll make it right for youĒ from Lotus.

Seriously, how can you screw up an order for a 120K exotic car?! The more I mull this over the more I get spun up and the harder it becomes to stay a Lotus fanboy.
I understand. I only mentioned it because there must be a glitch somewhere given the frequency of mistakes.

An Evora owner once with a dark grey told me he had carbon grey... maybe thatís it?

I have a battleship grey 400. Not sure if itís the color your looking for, but here it is.
