Sorry, quit my job and was traveling for a bit so this is a late reply. The effective offset is +20 front and rear. The fronts are +28 from Enkei and apparently some people run them without spacers, but I found I needed one 5 mm and one 3 mm spacer to clear. The rears are +25 from Konig and you really need at least one 5 mm spacer in order to avoid contact with the suspension arm through the full range of travel (I confirmed by running my suspension through the entire range without springs fitted).

Has anybody had these out on track yet?
My car was down for the track portion of the rally but I got it running again for the Kancamangus highway cruise (think of a minor version of tail of the dragon) on the third day, and I went up with a large group and came back with a couple buddies, and in a group of supercars, absolutely no one could catch the car in the corners. I was trying hard to get the car to squirm or break free in any way shape or form and the new limits are so much greater than they were that I need a serious re-adjustment as a driver.

It's actually made me fall back in love with the car. The difference between these tires and the R888Rs is greater, or at least equal to, the difference I experienced when I went from stock LSS suspension to Penskes's on the same R888Rs.

Now that being said I'm running into rubbing issues at the moment with the 215's up front but I also slammed the car. Front ride height is a tick under 120MM. So I'm certainly pushing the limits.

For example, the tires were picking up very large stones. I found a stone (similar size to what you'd find on a gravel/stone driveway) lodged into the air inlet grills behind the doors.
Also while taking a sharp right hand corner at the top of 3rd the rear tires must have picked up a large stone and sent it flying up and forward, so much so, that it entered the cabin through the passenger window and bounced off the dashboard.
Never seen that before.

I'm running 205/50/15 A052 on 15x7 ET30 & 245/45/16 A052 on 16x8 ET35 rims. No problem at all.

Ls1Rx7 I'll have them out on track next weekend if I can get my car back together by then
But I'm running 215's up front and 235's out back

Hoping for a big improvement from the R888Rs

Scott M Tire Rack now has A052s in the stock sizes for the LSS wheels.
Has anybody had these out on track yet?

Curious about this, would the A052 205/40r17 rub on a stock suspension Elise then? Specs show it as 1" shorter than the 205/50r16. Is it a width issue or a height issue with the front clearance?

More testing the better for everyone. We need more good options for this platform

These should be a bit cheaper and last longer. Maximum grip should be very close too.
Hoping I get my car back from the bodyshop soon so I can report back, but my guess is that they'll be a full second or more faster than my R888Rs on a course thats about 70 seconds long

What size/offset are your rears?

I have XXR 527's which I believe are +25. Will be at least a couple weeks before I get my car back from the bodyshop, so we'll have to wait a bit to see how the fitment is.

Its certainly a heavier combo than a dedicated track tire/wheel setup, but this setup is likely within 1 second of hoosiers on my small local track so having 1 set of tires and rims (even if the tires are more expensive) is cheaper overall.

Ls1Rx7 Called TireRack today and they are getting sizes in stock as we speak.
The new US version is also 7/32" so they're likely legal in the 200tw autoX classes. So expect these to dissapear once the word catches on.

But After calling them, it looks like they have the 215/40/17 in stock and the 245/40/17 in stock. I think I'm going to try this combo but I'm a bit worried about them fitting given the talk about how wide they run.

Ls1Rx7 Yokohama has all the sizes listed now on their website and Tire rack seems to have some of the new sizes listed:

I'm located in Ukraine, so for me it's not a big problem to buy them

jds62f ooo i just noticed they offer a 195/50/16 along with the 245/40. Guess I'll sit and watch for the additional tire rack specs to show up to see how wide 245 really is.

I have a set of black Rota Slipstreams that I ran several years ago - they're 15x7 and 16x8. PM or email me (in sig) if you're interested. Back to the thread!
