Let me know if it goes through and you want to close this thread. Quote, mention (@oldmansan) or PM me.

Not sure I'd want to see it after I sold it. I had a similar situation with an old toy I sold. It was strange to see it and not own it. Years ago a co-worker asked me "when does a woman look her best?" His answer, "on the arm of another man."

Chemgee I agree that is a great deal. I would be interested if I didnít have my Elise. I would have sell it first. Very tempting!!

4380r There simply is no reason this car hasn't found a new home at this price. Folks who say they are holding out for a specific color, or that it has to be close to home, or that it has to be under $40K simply don't understand the market for these cars, or they don't really want one.

There are probably no more than a thousand Exiges on the road, all MY combined, in the US. At any given time a handful are for sale.

maxshuty BUMP Price lowered: $47,999... Pretty much a steal, the only cheaper Exige's are '06 non-S Exige's, or two other '07 but one has 80,000 miles and another has 11k miles more than mine and is only priced a couple hundred lower.

rsamani Very nice example. Wish this was in my area

maxshuty In a turn of events I found an airplane I want to buy, but it'll still require the sale of the Exige. Someone buy this so I can get my airplane!

maxshuty Bump, price drop $48,499.

cmaser That's really an incredible deal. If I wasn't sitting in my own 07, I'd scoop this up without hesitation. GLWS, @maxshuty !

maxshuty Price lowered to $48,990 - honestly it's a steal at this price, everything else on the market that are cheaper than this are non-supercharged Exige's, cars with a history (accidents, heavy track use, etc.), or much higher mileage (75k+)... The rest of the market is priced at $53k-55k range which do have less miles than my car, but missing many of the desirable upgrades like track pack, touring pack, the carbon fiber center console, GRP rear taillights, etc.

This makes me want to keep all the extra goodies I have for the car so I can easily upgrade my next Exige I'll inevitably get, or just keep the Exige and get the Tesla but that involves me sleeping in the garage until my wife would let me move back in... probably worth it..?

maxshuty Another bump, it's got a fresh oil change now

Snypr18 Beautiful car. Its such a shame we will likely never see cars like this again in the US.

Gunpilot Not a bad price and car looks sound. Reminds me of what my 07 looked like before I molested it. After 6 years on the track she's showing it!

maxshuty We've already got one (my wifes car), but every time I drive it I really enjoy it. Plus the Exige doesn't get driven like it should by me anymore, I've been too busy so it's been a garage queen aside from the occasional Saturday cars and coffee whereas the Tesla at least I could use as my DD - not that I can't with the Exige, but I don't want that to be my car that sits in stop and go traffic... that would suck in a Lotus!! Haha

Also if I figure out how to make a lift work in my garage before someone buys this then I'm getting the lift, keeping the Lotus, and getting a Tesla

You might very seriously regret it when something goes wrong with the Model S. This is coming from a early, disillusioned Tesla owner.
