I haven't found any place cheaper for parts. My resistor pack went bad as well. I eliminated mine and only have off and max fan now but did relocate the wiring so I could add the resistor pack later...

Crap! You're right, I wasn't thinking. I believe the receiver/drier is recommended to be replaced anytime you open the system. It's a cheap part anyway.

I deleted my resistor pack and there is no longer any wiring down in the pan so need to drill any holes now. If I do add the resistor pack back it'll be located up near the access panels.
