nice, we just did a road trip last week. I highly suggest Big Sur right now. The waterfalls are spectacular.

It sucked ass on the washboard highway known as the 10 highway in LA,

Got more attention than I had hoped, but less than I expected. Caught an out of state Nissan Versa taking a picture of the elise
Heh, I tell this exact same story. I bought mine in Beverly Hills so as soon as I got on the highway it was the absolute worst feeling I have ever experienced on public roads. At first I became very concerned because my car has upgraded suspension and I thought I had just made a very expensive mistake because there was no way my wife was going to put up with this driving all the way back to Texas. But then I noticed everytime we went over a bridge it would smooth out and as soon as we got back on solid road it was back to washboard feeling (thats how I explain it as well).

In California people are going to be more used to cars like this. Here in Fort Worth, this actually is an exotic sports car. I still get pictures, still get poeple riding next to me, still get people trying to talk to me on the highway, still get stopped in the parking lots, still get the diesel F250's riding my ass then speeding around me.

But anyways I just had to comment on that washboard remark, because it's exactly how I felt and I will never forget that.

Enjoy and welcome to family
