This is the contest for guessing when this forum hits 100,000 posts.

Just as a guessing point/sanity check, we just passed 50,000 posts on 06-04-2004. We historically averaged around 250 posts per day. Lately we have increased that to somwhere around 300 posts per day. That is just a math game then to come to a date.

But what impacts the date will be trends. Will posting increase with more magazine articles? When the cars arrive? As people go to meets and such? If so, by how many?

I think it will be difficult to predict, more than the 50,000 post contest, because of the possible of a change in the post per day numbers.

Rules: THESE RULES ARE DIFFERENT!!!! PLEASE READ!!!

Post when you think we will hit 100,000 posts. I need you to post the date only and then night or day. This will be the day that the forum, using Pacific Standard Time, will hit 100,000 posts. Day will be defined at 6:01am to 6:00pm PST. Night will be defined as 6:01pm to 6:00am...even though it would technically end at Midnight. If both Day and Night has not been selected, than the Day or Night selection will revert to being only for that day. Day then being defined as being from midnight to midnight.

If someone has already claimed a date and night, you can not pick the same date and night, but you can select the same date and day. For that reason, it may be in your best interest to lock in a day sooner than later.

Choosing of dates will be locked as of August 6th.

A camcorder mount for the Elise... or a $75 gift certificate from ChaseCam.

What is your guess? Let me know if you make a change!

September 29, Day.

Is that camcorder mount the 3-suction cup or single cup? For that matter, have you 'fitted' the Elise for a camera mount yet? Rear window or fender, it should be one well-filmed car around here. :)

I will do all kinds of fitments once I get my car. :)

The prize if the 3 cup window mount (same one used to video the Lake Tahoe autocross). We have tested it to 200mph and on top fuel drag racers. I have yet to test the single cup mount, not that I expect it to fail. :)
