Bought a 400 two months ago. It’s coming close to the 1000 mile service. I have a few questions about this. My dealer is a little over two hours away but I have a monthly meeting 20 minutes from the dealer. So I was planning to drop it off for the day and work remotely for the day. This isn’t for at least a month so I can schedule it early and they’ll know the urgency. I was hoping to not have to stay overnight.

How long does the service usually take?

I have two other issues. One is a leak in passenger side window. The second is the driver side seat latch isn’t working. Do I need to set aside time to get there early so they have all day to work on?

The 1000 mile service is fast. It’s basically changing fluids and checking the ECU. The latch depends on whether they need parts they don’t have.
