1892lbs-yippee, and that's without the sport package savings.

Great, rain on my parade. Now I've got to find some metal matrix rotors.

Sounds like the only difference is the air bags. They can't weigh that much. I'd be very happy if the U.S. Elise with the Sports package came in under 1900LBS. It sounds soo much nicer.

Our 111R has twin oil coolers, but it does not have air bags or the US sports pack, or the hardtop. Yeh it sure is one light car:)

Best Wishes,
Mitch
Oh- I thought the coolers were an option for hot climate markets- whoops.

Hey Mitch,

That must mean mine has twin oil coolers too. Cool didn't know that.

Thanks,

Anton

Yep, You've got em on your Yellow machine. John is now at Clipsal this weekend crewing for Peter Boylands M3 in Nations Cup. Look for him on the Teli when the car comes in the pits.

Best Wishes,
Mitch

Surely the incremental weight addition for 2 airbags can't be much these days - hell the whole mechanism fits in something the size of a fist?

That'd tell me that the standard car is gonna be 1900 near as dammit? With the Sport a tad better?

WHOOOOOPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

They surely did it they did surely.

Yup, I'd like to keep my Elise in the 1800s even when I upgrade to the S.C.;) Race day battery, light weight rotors, titanium exhaust, light weight flywheel, and any other way I can shave off a few pounds.
