Additional Info

I bought the car new in June of 2012. It has had very good care.

I was at a large Chevy dealer to check out the new Bolt EVs. The lot had many Corvettes, Camaros as well as a used Ferrari. When leaving, three salesmen followed me out to the car. They wanted to know all about it. After six years it still looks beautiful and attracts attention. I thought by buying a black car, it would not attract as much attention as a bright color. Wrong.

The car was recently serviced by Auto Europe in Birmingham MI and now runs better than ever. The Lotus techs at Birmingham are among the very best in the USA.

A couple of reasons for selling. #1 -* I would like to buy a new one. #2 - all of the maintenance services (including tires and software) are recent.

*If the car does not sell, that is OK - I will keep and continue to enjoy it.

cognac brown

Interior color is beautiful!
Thanks, the cognac brown does look nice. I've always given it a good rub down each year with Tanner's leather conditioning cream.

I currently have a Larini sport valved exhaust on order. I enjoyed the sound when I had the Elise for 6 years.

Hi. I'd love to talk to you about buying your Evora. I drove an IPS for the first time a week ago and was hooked instantly! And I've only had manual cars (mostly Porsches) but really liked the IPS. It wasn't supercharged either but was fast enough for me. Seems like it can be a bit of minefield negotiating through the used Evoras for sale on the web, so I joined this forum. Nice to see that you've had the car from the beginning. Anyway, look forward to hearing from you.

I suppose

Installed a Larini valved sport exhaust over the winter. It has never run better. No issues.

There is a 2018 400 available to replace it - same color, etc.

At this point would not be disappointed if I kept it.

2+2 vs 2+0

Sadly the car I've reserved to replace it is a 2+2. There are no 2018 Evora 400 2+0 cars available, let alone IPS.

I'm stuck with a 2+2 and stick shift. I plan to try converting the 2+2 to a 2+0.

I cannot understand the reasoning for a 2+2 unless you have toddlers to ride in the back.

The luggage space of a 2+0 will accommodate a full size suitcase plus stuff bags. Or golf clubs. I cannot see placing luggage on the nice leather seats in the back of a 2+2.
