The head dimensions were the same across models. There were differences in valve sizes on the final 4-cyls.
1987 lotus Esprit HCI head dimensions
Can anyone advise the dimensions of the cylinder head on an Esprit. Not too sure if the thickness changes from 1 to the other (HC to Non HC). My car overheated and now it appears the head maybe warped by about 8 thou. Is that too much to be planed? Having the block checked as well.

Does anyone have those head dimensions, and can it be skimmed 8 thousandths
