Ok so 2 weeks ago, in stop and go traffic I could monitor the temp gauge and it would go up to approx. 90, then down to 80 and cycle with no issue. Driving last night in similar traffic and the temp kept climbing up to approx. 100 with no fans - it only dropped after driving over 40mph for a bit.

Got home and idled it and still no fans, I shut it down close to 100 degrees on the temp gauge.

I have no fan failure light, no check engine light, I checked fan fuses - all good. I jumped the fan relay and all 3 fans come on.

I also have no fans coming on if I turn the ac switch on.

I'm running the #3 chip and am wondering 2 things
1 - could the chip somehow be loose
2 - could it be a bad ecu

Thanks in advance

Oh and I do have Freescan, but haven't plugged it in this time, but previously it shows pretty close to correct temp readings

1. Check relays

2. Check electrical connector in bonnet on right side to AC stuff. Mine got knocked of a few weeks ago and fans didnt work. Reconnect fixed

3. Checked fans?

Hey Kenny,

Thanks for the response. I put power to each fan and they power up, and when I unplug the fan relay near the under-bonnet fuse block and jump a wire there, all 3 power up.

Oh, and the wheels are working out great!
