His was free, but it was a mistake by the delaer. The Esprit qualifies for the 1st free service not the Elise. Plan on spending $249.00 for your first service. Anymore then that they are overcharging.

I would think some dealers may offer that to the customers that purchased the car from them but if you show up out of the blue looking for a free service…

see what i would do is call them first before i show up out of the blue looking for a free service...

Ascot outside Pittsburgh was doing it for free. But again, that may be only for customers, and it may just have been a mistake.

Tom Skinner at Criswell (which is charging $350!!!) said he thinks some dealers were under the mistaken impression that Lotus would be reimbursing them for the service, cause they were doing so with the Esprit. Lotus, however, is not reimbursing on the Elise.

i suspect there are no dealers so benevolent. were I a dealer I would certainly not provide free service to someone who did not purchase from me. the concept reads like it is induced by a crack pipe of the non go fast variety
