Title kind of sums it up. The air won't blow unless I put the setting on 3. 1 & 2 will just act like the system is off. When on 3, the air works just fine, definitely not actually an AC problem. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?
Uh-oh, that is most likely the HVAC blower resistor. Those are notoriously susceptible to corrosion and require the removal of the front clam and some AC parts. First though, pull the control panel out, check the wiring there and make sure speeds 1 and 2 aren't just disconnected, and then start tracing back to the resistor pack
Start by doing some reading. Search "resistor pack replacement". there should be plenty of write ups and guidance.
Good luck!
