We just took in a 2,500 mile Elise that shows and drives like new. There is very little wear and tear to hint at the fact it is a 2005. It is metallic British Racing Green.
The Elise was purchased by a local young business owner. His family has grown by several children since he purchased the car from us in 2005 and he returned to us when he regretfully needed to sell his Lotus. He informed us that he just didn't have the time to enjoy the Elise and did not feel keeping it garaged was right.
(Being a father of four myself, I wanted to hand him a Kleenex, poor guy.)
All mechanical work was performed by our Lotus service specialist. The Elise is still under warrantee until August of 2008 or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
This Lotus was highly optioned with:
Factory Hard Top
The photos were taken on a rare rainy day here in sunny San Luis Obispo. Personally, I think the British Racing Green looks properly British in the overcast light of the dreary weather. I did include some shots of the Elise in the shelter of our detailer's shop so you can see it dry too. The good news is that I didn't see any leaks from the hard top! Pretty nice feature on an English sports car.
Contact me if you would like to more information or would like to set an appointment to see this lovely Lotus Elise.
