2006 Ford GT For Sale in Twinsburg, OH 44087 | Global Autosports
2006 Ford GT - One-owner example with a very cool history. This Ford GT was owned by a long-time Shelby collector, who had the stripes painted gold to match his Hertz collection, which was featured in the December 2009 issue of 'Muscle Car Power' magazine. It is probably the most well-documented example on the market, with every single piece of original paperwork, including the original sales documents, all original tags, the original window sticker, copies of the MSO, complete service history, and a bunch of extra goodies. The original factory options were the painted top stripe, BBS wheels, and red painted calipers. The car is in absolutely impeccable condition, with zero excuses.
History:
This Ford GT #0989 was originally ordered by Koons Ford of Annapolis, MD. It was then wholesaled to Bentley of Long Island, as many GTs were when they first came out. It remained on the original MSO, and the first and only registered owner was Fred Piluso, who purchased the car on August 8, 2006. He serviced the car fastidiously and also did a few key upgrades, including and Accufab GT X-pipe, the diamond-stitched embossed door inserts, and the Hot Buttons seat inserts.
This car has been shown multiple times, and in addition to being featured in Muscle Car Power, it also won 1st place Ford GT at the 2012 SAAC Convention at Watkins Glen. It was also featured on the front lawn of the 2009 Glenmoor Concours d'Elegance, where the Ford GT and Camilo Pardo's art were headline exhibits. Mother's also displays this GT on their 'California Gold' Synthetic Wax.
