This was one of the 3 press cars right?
Correct. This car sold months ago and the current owner is enjoying a phenomenal deal. I would refer you to Google the Comprehensive Exige 260 Registry. This is North American car #8.

Sold for $54,000 - 2009 Burnt Orange S260

Many have asked if this Exige S260 Sold and for How Much.

Yes it finally - Sold
Many Many Low Ball Offers - Very Few Actually Had the Funds Available

This S260 was the Press-Car and featured in several magazine articles.

The main thing that bothered me about this car was the Carbon Fiber was actually fading under the clearcoat.
Waxing/buffing would not help as it was fading "under" the clearcoat.
Warranty repainted the car to repair this issue.
The dealer took 6-Months to complete
Looked perfect but this would have cost big money out of warranty.

Sweet car but I'm wondering how a repaint fixed this issue. Wouldn't it have required replacing the carbon fiber panels as well if the CF itself was faded or discolored?

Clear coat fades on the carbon fiber...not the carbon fiber itself..

Seen it happen on a carrera GT.

My s260 does not have this problem. UV rays cause cars to fade that sit outside for long periods just like with any regular paint but carbon shows it faster.

How to solve the problem, garage the car or live in state like mine rofl!
