Our family car is an 2012 A4 and our car before that was a 2009 A4. It's a totally different animal than the Evora. The Evora is more comfortable/practical than an Elise/Exige but it's not a typical "luxury" car/sports car. I think the first question you have to ask is, after the novelty has worn off, can you live with that and the quirks that come with Lotus. A few hours looking through the Evora forum will tell you if it's right for you.
