Beautiful car, pretty much the same as mine so I might be biased! For any prospective buyers, it really is a beautiful color combo!

Can you post a video of some revs to get an idea of how loud the header/top speed combo is? Would probably be useful to prospective buyers. I’m thinking of doing the same for mine but I dd mine and would be a little worried it might be too loud going into work or runs into the city for errands. Any insight on how much it is at lower revs? Thanks! GLWS

Edit: I said top speed but looks like you said Janspeed. That has a muffler correct? Is that one switchable? So probably not too bad.

I do love the color combination!

The Janspeed exhaust is not switchable (on this car the vacuum line for switching between loud and quiet is still in place but has been blocked off) but it does have a muffler. It is much quieter than the Top Speed exhaust. I would say that it is perfectly suitable for driving around town if you use the pipe with the high-flow cat and the muffler. However, if you get into the higher RPM range, it gets pretty throaty. I tried a few combinations with the tuned headers (with cat, without cat, with the stock exhaust, with the Janspeed exhaust) and feel like the current setup is the perfect combination for what I wanted. As it sits now, it passes emissions in Pennsylvania and has a deep and throaty growl with burbling. If you are on it and then let off for a downshift, you can get a nice little pop or two.

Definitely biased but I think autumn bronze is one of the most eye catching colors an S1 can have. Refined and unique. I'd buy yours in an instant if I didn't already have one. Definitely plan on doing headers and exhaust, can you still get a Janspeed exhaust nowadays?

I was the original registered owner of this car and bought it in May of 2015 with 1283 niles, and that is when the warranty was activated. I traded it for my 2017 Evora 400 which I bought new, 14 miles in May of 2018. If it will help, it was not a fender bender. An idiot driving a u haul backed out of an ezpass only lane on the NJ Turnpike. I was already suspicious of the driver because he had cut across several lanes to enter this lane only to discover they didn"t have ezpass. I stopped at least 50 feet behind but despite my flashing my lights and blowing my horn he just kept backing up albeit at a very speed slow. There was no place to go because of traffic on sides and behind. I posted about this a long time ago. The tow hitch just cracked the polyurethane nose (see photo; that's a leaf in the grille). Needless to say, he only had the minimum required insurance and nothing else. The repaire was done in NY at an authorized RR and AM shop. My insurance company felt so bad, they gave me the 5k they collected from uhaul on top of the absolutely perfect repair. I can't comment on what happened after I traded it but no one should be concerned about the "fender bender," unless there was something after this. In adddition to all that, while pulling over to wait for the police on the other side of the toll, he tried to drive away and a good samaritan in a pick up cut him off, and then gave me his name and number and said he had seen the whole thing. There are good people out there.

There was only the one incident that they described as a minor fender bender. I am very anal about my cars. When I looked, I could not even tell where the repair had taken place. When I look at your picture, I can see why. Do you have any other photographs?

I do love this car and I know I will pick up another Lotus in the future. Do you still have the Evora 400?

On another note, I still did not get a chance to make a video but I hope to do so this week.

LOL! Likewise. I simply LOVE this color and was struck with instant desire. But the lack of a manual trans is, for me, a show stopper.

I would love a manual too, but what is really stopping me is that super tan interior, though I think some of that can be solved by adding some aftermarket CF stuff??
having a hard time finding options though, so not sure.

From past experience, beige/tan interiors always look better in person? I wonder if you have any thoughts on it 'o uncola o' ?

Posting a picture from a happier day. Note the gap on the original cut line between the bumper and "hood" is exactly the same as today, all these years later. Compare to others you have seen. A testament to the repair. I sttill have the 400.
