Long story short, I just purchased a 720s Spider and I need to trim the fleet to make some interior garage space. As much as I love this car, it is time to let her go.
2014 Lotus Evora S IPS 2+2 with about 11,600 miles. VIN: SCCLMDSU5EHA10087. A link to the original sales listing (before I purchased it) can be viewed here: Sell new 2014 Autumn Bronze Evora S IPS - MSRP $97,060 - Executive Demo - Will Discount.. in Huntington Station, New York, United States, for US $97,060.00
She just had a full brake job (pads and rotors) and I just replaced all four tires. This work was all done within the last 200 miles.
The Lotus has a few modifications. I still have all of the original parts to return the car to stock. All original parts would be included in the sale. The original manuals and a Lotus-branded trickle charger are also included in the sale. I am also including a WeatherTech Form-Fit Indoor Car Cover in Charcoal ($400).
Modifications include:
(1) BOE Tuned Headers with both pipes (high flow cat and cat delete) ($3,500). The headers have been fully jet-hot coated by jet-hot with Extreme 1300 Polish ($450);
(2) BOE Cold Air Intake ($490); and,
(3) JanSpeed titanium exhaust ($1,200).
The headers and intake really wake the car up. The exhaust note is loud but not overpowering. There are plenty of cracks and burbles. In light of the added power, before I purchased the 720s, I was going to buy and install the BOE Evora IPS Transmission Enhancement Kit to improve the 2-3 shift. Since I purchased the 720s, I will leave the decision of whether to do that upgrade to the new owner.
The interior lighting and the lighting in the trunk have been replaced with LED bulbs.
This car has never been raced or tracked. It is in great condition and is available for a PPI. There is paint protection film on the front of the car. I am obsessed with my cars and with properly maintaining them. This car has had all required maintenance and regular oil changes (full synthetic) at the end of each summer. It is insured on a layup policy such that it can only be driven in the summer.
The only known issues are (1) a hairline crack in the plastic trim piece on one of the A pillars (a common occurrence with Evoras); (2) some small peeling in the front paint protection film (not visible unless you are right up on it and it is only in the PPF and not in the paint); and, (3) a minimal amount of curbing on a wheel. The photographs are a good representation of the car. I am happy to provide additional photographs to a serious buyer. Note that, prior to my ownership, it did have a very minor fender bender (minor damage to the front that was perfectly repaired in December of 2016). The car has a clean title.
I love Lotus as a brand and I will certainly get another in the future. However, I also enjoy variety and can only have so many cars at one time!
I am happy to answer any questions. I may be slow to respond but I will get to you!
EDIT: March 25, 2023
The videos are finally here! Please excuse the dust. Also, there is a speck on the windshield that is visible in the driving video. That is just some goop on the windshield. The driving is not "spirited" since it is only around my neighborhood. These are very low effort and low quality. I just wanted to get something up so that people could hear the exhaust note with the headers and Janspeed.
