I have no idea what you mean. Both cars drive well, steer well, etc, but the Vantage is really fast. Really.

EDIT: Do you know who Matt Becker is? Left after decades at Lotus to become chief engineer at AM. Almost everyone says he's done a terrific job with the Vantage.

For those of you on the fence about an Evora GT, go test drive one. I was pretty blown away... the sound is really good. And the delicacy of the steering is the best I’ve experienced this side of an Elise. This is relative to an Elise and 458 Speciale. Also the size and power level is just about right to my foot for the open road (vs the 458 for example).

Driving the GT also helps balance so much emphasis on the looks alone. That said, I’m exploring ordering the GT430 parts separately. Has anyone created a list of what’s needed?

I had the experience of riding in my Elise several laps around VIR with Matt Becker at the wheel. At some points my bottom was over grass, and I wondered if I’d have tires left after this run.

I told him afterwards that I felt as though I’d turned my wife over to a porn star. No way to impress her now.

Note: proper Englishmen do not generally talk like that.

Love the Aston, the one I almost bought was dark British green with saddle leather interior. But the gaping hole waiting for the stick and everything on the dash being German was a bit of a turn off. And, it would have been the car preventing us from having a Mac!

You might want to reach out to Kageorg11 and KenGT2020, I think they convert their GT to GT430.

What I understand from my research to make a GT430 config:

Options to order: carbon pack, Ti exhaust.

Mods and parts:
Front bumper cover (no side light/reflectors)
Front splitter (Not on GT430 sport)
Wing (may require different carbon engine cover with holes for wing? Not on GT430 Sport)
Delete 3rd cat, install GRP Decat (the 416 hp CARB car is a different tune, reportedly non-CARB 422hp cars have the same tune as the 430, with the 3rd cat causing the 8hp drop)
Ohlins suspension (GT430). The federal GT has Bilsteins
Li Battery(?)
Lables, i.e. Seat stitching (GT430 vs. GT)
J-hook brake rotors

Note: Both GT and GT430 have the baffled sump.

Has anyone been able to order the factory ti exhaust and measure weight savings and dyno?
My S410 car came with the Ti exhaust on as an $8k option. Someday i'll take off and weigh, in there interim i'll believe the delay weights that Lotus gave in the Sport 410 press release. Lotus quotes a 22 lbs weight savings.

The example at my local dealer didn't come with one so this will be an interesting exercise in how fucked up their supply chain is :ROFLMAO:

Ti exhausts are a factory or dealer option, except was offered as standard on the european GT430. This is not a supply chain issue.

Is there any direct source for the Ti exhaust other than Lotus? We did not order our car with it because of the cost...but maybe it could be fitted now that we have taken delivery. The Lotus parts catalog lists the complete assembly for $12k, or just the muffler portion (no bypass valve or gaskets) for $9k.

They are made by Janspeed but would be propriety to Lotus. You are better off just purchasing an aftermarket exhaust if the cost is a concern.

Part #B132S0294F for ~ $9k is for all models including the GT and GT430 Automatic, the $12k A132S0314F was used on the GT430 manual only and is supposedly replaced by the cheaper version. neither part includes a gasket (new required) or actuation valve, which you would reuse from your prior muffler.
