reminds me of watching video of some Australian series with Elises and Vipers on the track at the same time. Vipers just walked away on the straights, but then had to brake soooooo early. Looks like he got some traffic help at the right time so he could gain enough time in the corners to overcome the acceleration/top speed advantage on the big straight

While the Marcos and many others may be "better" handling. Remember, the elan was designed as a street car. I still use both my +2 and baby for work daily. Try that in a Marcos or some track car (granted I use both Elise as service vehicles too, so maybe one could).
