Does anyone else have noise from 3100/3200 RPM? It kinds sounds like a mechanical pump grinding/rattling. The noise is kinda hard to explain.

Normal rattle from the straight cut gears? Is it more pronounced under light (or feathered) throttle or light decel? The gearbox in my 07 Elise is noisy.

Had a similar problem (based on your description) with mine. It turned out to be the belt tensioner. Might be worth checking out.
