I ordered a lot of 10 key blanks to get some copies made for my Elise and only wanted 5 keys made. As far as I can tell, the Lotus does not have an electronic transponder in the key so cheap regular keys will operate everything. The cheap copy operated the ignition without a hitch on my ride back from Home Depot.

This will cost you $.98 cents in postage plus parchment, less if you bought forever stamps a while ago. The blanks are $1.05 in a lot of 10 or $1.40 for less than 10 plus ~$5 shipping from Mr. Lock. Free local pickup.
To get copies made at an Axxess key making machine, you'll need to tell them to use cartridge B (the poor old guy at Home Depot making my keys went through all of the cartridges until he arrived on B; he was nice enough not to charge me). I don't know what is necessary for others.
