since u guys seem to eat this stuff up, thought i would let ya all know foxvalley had 6 or 7 cars saturday...
a chrome orange or 2, 2 yellows, 2 blacks, and a racing green.

all customers cars.

no i didnt take any pictures, and i didnt call cnn.

edit- On the other hand, some west coast dealers have not gotten one lister car in yet, so I guess it's all relative.

from what ive been told, foxvalley has the largest allocation cause they sold the most lotus' the year before....they have delivered like 30-40 cars according to the salesman...ive personally seen about 18 of them. they said they will have over 40 cars delivered by end of october, and then 10-15 cars per month thereafter.

It's great. I just got (last week) the call to finalize my order to be sent to the factory. I'm still way out on the list, but they seem to be moving quickly through it.

You boys in SoCal must live to hear this! At least up here in the Pacific NW we have had a whopping 2 customer cars delivered, which is I believe to be 2 more than the LA area...

30-40 cars delivered?! That's incredible - If any of you guys are in the 30's-40's, please fill us in on when you initially placed your deposit. Just wondering how long some of you had to wait before getting your car.

I'm #64 at Fox Valley and they've told me to expect my car March/April even though I've also been told the same (40 by october, 10-15 each month after that). By those estimates, I SHOULD be getting my car by January at the latest. We'll see how it goes. As much as I'd love to get it as early as possible, it's better to get it right at the end of winter because I'll be using it as a daily driver. BTW, I'm surprised a good amount of people have gotten black here in the midwest. I saw one in person a month or so ago and 2 more now, huh.

Mike, did you order Krypton? I think that's what I read in another post. What have they told you about delivery?

I was in the 20's. Placed my order in February of 2002 at the Chicago Auto Show. I've had my car just over a month now and am loving every minute!! FVMC was awesome-MSRP as promised, very upfront with delivery times and allocation, always willing to talk about the Elise. Never a problem! After reading some of the earlier posts I can't understand why some of the other dealerships have to act like their Elise customers are scum-bad information and several thousand over MSRP! FVMC is forming relationships with their Elise customers knowing that one day these customers may purchase something bigger and better! Everyone will benefit!

Paul, you are right there are a few bad dealers out their - most aren't too bad - just telling the customer what they want to hear because they are trying to please them. So rather than saying "we have no idea when you car will be here" they tell them January or something just to make them happy.

Not trying to rag on your dealership because they seem like a fine outfit, but it is a little easier for them since they are recieving so many cars. Makes it a little easier to please the customer when you actually have a product to sell. Now lets see a pic of your car!

I'm #90 at FVMC and we placed the order with the factory two or three weeks ago for an estimated late April/Early May delivery. Jim and Frank at Fox Valley are great guys and a lot of fun to talk cars with.

Just last week I was told it was "still a few loads away". Whether that means a few loads on the transport truck or a few loads on the boat, I don't know.

It was supposedly built 2 (or more?) months ago, so I have no idea what the holdup is at this point.

I was #3 at Fox. I put my money down in January 2002. I took delivery on 9/3/04 (delay for the LSS).
