This isnt something Iam particularly happy about but rather than have this car sit in the garage for another year unused I would like to pass it along to someone who will see it gets used to the potential it was built for.
This currently is not a "must sell" but at this point I would say Iam the most motivated to sell I have been in over 3 years. Title is in hand. Please, if you are not a serious buyer or do not have access to the coin for a purchase of this magnitude do not waste our time.
I originally bought this car in 2002 out of Houston Texas. The chassis currently has 74K miles on it. In the fall of 2006 at an autox the car suffered a motor failure (spun rod bearing) as a result of a cracked external oil cooler from a cone. During the winter of '06-'07 I installed a new shortblock, oil/water pump, and a new Fluidyne oil cooler. Since the installation of the new shortblock the car has only received "break in" miles, short drives on weekends, etc. totalling 1000 miles. In Sept. 2006 the car did 614hp 590tq at 26psi on 114octane fuel. I rarely drove the car at anything over 20psi. For autox it couldnt effectively use much more than 420hp, and track days it would just get to hot over 18psi (typical). I will be selling the car with a conservative pump gas 14psi tune. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to get it tuned for anything higher.

Be advised as you read the story and mod list that parts have changed over the years. The mods listed on the registry page might not be exactly whats on the car now. The current mod list will appear below.
This car is currently set up for road racing, track days and autox, I would like it to stay that way. In the cars current condition I would not suggest driving it long distances due to alignment settings, type of tires, etc.
The bad- Car has a small powersteering leak. In 2005 I had all dents and dings removed, since then I have 1 ding on the hatch, and a small dent on the drivers side rear quater panel. Paint is a 7 out of 10. Buyers with the intent on using this car for what it was built for wont be worried about these paint imperfections anyways.
