I was under the impression that HDR photos required taking multiple shots from the same location using different levels of exposure, then overlaying them.
These were single shots that were just attacked in photoshop.
True HDR requires at least 3 exposures, but if you're shooting in RAW you can fake it using a single exposure. These could be HDR, but they'd be a horrible failure if they are.
