After looking at the R&T article post, I started to wonder...

Do the stereo and AC controls hang down further now (compared to UK 111S)?

I am wondering about knee room between controls and the steering wheel.

Judging from the picture in the article, no, clearance is the same. The vents just got relocated higher to make room for the head unit.
