Every Elise/Exige I've seen has its rear tow ring BELOW the diffuser. For those of us whom are "naked", it would be better to have the tow-ring above the diffuser so as not to further disrupt underbody airflow.
The s111 boomerang toe ring might work, but you'd have to bend it upwards and it probably isn't long enough still.

Has anyone mounted their tow-ring above the diffuser?

Check in the "offcial booty thread" in general discussion. There is a rear tow hook that can be used through the exhaust exit. Forget which post.

Pic of tow-hook above diffuser. It is bolted to the rear subframe along with an exhaust mount. Easy to see and get to if you do end up off the track. Will also help keep you cleaner as you don't need to get under the car.

I never liked the tow eyes that bolt under the diffuser and was determined to avoid it. The "naked tail" just made it easier to achieve.
