@John Z use Chrome with AdBlock extension on PC, or AdBlocker browser for Android
i don't have the problem when using my computer, its only on my phone which is android with chrome

in my opinion i shouldn't need to download anything extra just to navigate a webpage

@John Z I am also an Android user, I understand your frustration with ads- I don't like ads or silly scripts either. The adblocker browser will also block most unwanted ads that are posted in any website that uses advertising, it is also very fast as well.

Download Firefox for Android and install uBlock Origin on Firefox. Using any Autoguide website on a mobile device otherwise is like going bareback in a seedy alley in a 3rd world country. Don't touch any of these forums without layers of protection. uBlock or similar, Privacy Badger, NoScript, etc. Despite the claims from the people behind 'Administrator', it's very specific to the malicious ad networks they have contracted with - decent ad networks do not sell to these types, so you will not see this all over the web.

I’m using the iCab Mobile browser on an iPad. It gives me the option to block pop ups and redirects. It also lets me build filters to prevent loading pages from addresses or domains (with wildcards). For example, I blocked *.zergnet.com/* after getting tricked several times into following what looked like a legitimate news link on news sites (everything at zergnet is click bait / ads).

I put a post in a specific forum about this and it was deleted people do not know. I guess LT would rather hide knowing they are possibly infecting other people's computers?

You're never going to get anywhere with this. All of the Autoguide forums are this way. They're about as trustworthy as porn sites. You need to use every ad blocking mechanism you can. The idea that they're going to do something about this by having users report specific URLs is hilarious. They're 100% aware this will never work, because they don't care - they subscribe to this quality of ad because it has higher revenue, and they don't give a **** about their users' safety.

Install Firefox mobile if you need to use Autoguide forums on your phone, you can install the same adblocking extensions as you can for PCs. Never, ever use any Autoguide website on any browser without adblocking/privacy badger/etc.

They're not going to change their ad provider integrations for us - they are happy with it this way.

Your post was moved, not deleted. It's now in the site feedback forum.

No, it wasn't. It was moved to the proper section. Just do a search for your posts/threads in the future.

The point of that post was to tell people who do not go into that section about the issues. Moving it defeated the purpose of the post. Might as well have been deleted.
