So i came home sunday night, washed her up and garaged her until this morning. Start up was rough for about 2 seconds and then smoothed right out, but she threw a check engine that has stayed on for three short trips today. Any advice as to who should look into this around here? Any input would be appreciated...thanks guys...

Perhaps a bit more info would help. What kind of a car?

Have you checked the gas cap?

Yes, first piece of advice is to get the car scanned and get the fault codes.

i know, check the code first...i just kind of freaked out and assumed the worst, that a serious problem was evident and i needed a pro to fix it...forgive me, i've only owned it a month...
