So I'm about to change the transmission oil out for the first time. I've read what I can find here, but I had a quick question:

If I use ramps on the rear wheels to get the car to where I can work on it, will the angle severely affect the ability to refill the transmission with gear oil. I would think that the car being level would be the best option for actually refilling the tranny with gear oil. Any advice on this would be great :) Thanks in advance!

Level is best, but will a few extra tablespoons matter?

Be sure you can open the FILL plug before you drain it (unless you have a rotisserie ;) ). It would really suck if you drained all the fluid and were unable to refill it.

I usually put the car up on four jack stands (the special all aluminum Lotus red ones) when doing services like this.

It makes the car level and gives you more room to wiggle around under there.

Get a long hose to be able to fill it from the top. If you don't have a long enough hose it's a beeyotch trying to squeeze it upwards from underneath.
