For any suppliers that are reading the board, here are things i can think of that i would be extremely interested in.

1) a way to lower the driver's seat
2) short shift kit
3) ligher, more aggressive, and more powerful exhaust (i know there are some available but now we need exact weights, sound comparisons and dynos)

A good place to start...

http://www.sector111.com/

I just ordered a Quicksilver aftermarket exhaust (aprox 18 lbs) and a quick release kit for the diffuser trays.
I'd like to see an easy/secure way to Raise the seat.

Maybe a collection of longer bolts and four stair-stepped blocks of aluminum...
i would love to see that center console in aluminum instead of plastic....i think that would make the whole interior.....
Why stop at the alumunin ...why not use a lighter carbon fiber lay up for the center console.
forgot to add a smaller rear view mirror
www.eliseparts.com already makes one, you'd have to modify it slightly but should work (ie its for an s2 which mounts directly to the bulkhead and not the pocket, so you'd have to do some cutting.

Stan added the coolest rear view mirror! Don't know where he got it, or how it went up, but it's awesome.

I wish I had that kind of time...:(
i would still like to have an aluminum center console.....wheres stans rear view mirror?
rear view mirror

i'd like to see that rear view mirror too.
i think the standard mirror is waaay too big and ugly.

My Elise hasn't arrived yet but as soon as it does I'm making a straight pipe catback for it. I can't imagine it weighing more than 7-8 lbs and costing more than $100.00

Once it is made I'll get it on the dyno and adjust back pressure so at the very least it won't give up hp.
i wish sector 111 will import a quick release kit for the steering wheel like the one shown in elise parts web site and any opinion if changing the steering wheel with one from momo but a little bit bigger and colored.
External gate for the shifter would be nice.

I wonder how much weight could be saved and hp gained by replacing the cats with a test pipe for track days. Can someone with a car examine the exhaust system and determine how feasible this might be?
