Hi guys, I just finished installing a katana 2 supercharger on my Elise. The kit came with the TRD airbox, which is a monstrosity, and apparently needs to be glued to keep dirt from entering the engine. I had a generic intake installed for the past few years, mostly for sound, but also it was much easier to work with and cleaner looking, and wondered if it would be sufficient for the supercharger?

I'd use the intake the tune is calibrated for. All bets are off otherwise.

+1 for what San stated. The tune is calibrated for the Cup series airbox. I've had no issues with getting mine closed...you do not have to glue it. It is a PITA tho!
