...or is $36k for an '08 Elise SC with 21k miles a rather low asking price, especially from a dealership?

I just happened to see the AutoTrader ad for said vehicle being sold by San Jose British Motors and even though I have no interest in it since I only just recently bought my Elise, I may go over there just to satisfy my curiosity. Neither the AutoTrader ad or the one on the dealership website indicates any issues. The free Carfax report that doesn't show anything either.

I Google'd the VIN # and ran across an ad which seems to be from when it was on sale between the 2nd & 3rd owners last September with 15k miles which had an asking price of $45,500.

get the vin posted, car fax it, and check KBB or NADA KBB. good luck.
I saw that ad also. Seems to good to be true. Someone in the area should do an in person view.
Where do you see that it is supercharged? The specs say 190 horsepower.

I'm close to the dealership, but it'd have to wait until after my work week ends on Thu.

Their website ad makes it look like a non-SC, but the AutoTrader ad and the old ad I mentioned before shows it as an SC. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, I think the "Z" in position 4 of the VIN # indicates it's an SC.
