Ok so we have had some success in the past couple years with our Long Island meets either at my shop or at Jones Beach. Time to start planning another, let's get some ideas going.

FYI, I had a cool idea to do a run from jones beach to the Hampton's for some lunch & have a great place in mind.

Let's kick some ideas & dates around.

Sorry guys, haven't been able to join in until now.

Been busy with the 3rd Annual Bear Mtn Cruze on Sept 7 (wonder where I got that idea from?). See thread here on LT.

I won't be available for anything until late July and I am in the process of putting together another "pre-run" for Bear Mtn (by popular request- gotta admit, they have been a lot of fun), it'll probably be August 3rd (if anybody is interested).

You guys have any idea of which dates you are looking at for the Hamptons?

How 'bout going the Full Monty and making for Montauk? Fun town and lot's of place to hang. Liar's Saloon for Mud Slides anyone?

Bridgehampton rally on October 4...

How out this:

The Bridgehampton Historical Siciety runs an annual Vintage Car Show and Rally throught the beautiful back roads of the Hamptons. While our Elises aren't technically 'vintage' they have allowed me and other newer cars to show and run. It's a very nice, low-keyed 'poker' rally. The modest Registration includes coffee and donuts, and a nice lunch. I guess there are trophies awarded but we didn't win so I can't comment. They can find a navigator for if you're solo.

So I'm guessing a drive in in the early AM, then the rally, then...

Here's the link: The Bridgehampton Road Rally

CU there

Hey Jonathan,

If you're in Westchester by September 20, come join us for the 4th Annual Bear Mtn. Cruze which is a hop, skip and jump from you.

The Bear Mtn. event actually originated from a LI Lotus Mini Run we had almost 5 years ago. Below are some pics from that event soooo may moons ago....

Pics taken in Farmingdale (that's Republic Airport in the background).

If you're at all interested in Bear Mtn, PM me.

C'ya!
