Hello.

I am new to the site. I recently bought a 2012 Lotus Evora S. Picked it up in New Jersey at Sports & Specialist Cars and drove it back to Houston in 7 days. Spent 4 days in the Appalachian mountains and even tamed the dragon's tail at deals gap. (I've attached a pic from killboy.com) I love this car!

I am looking for information on a GT rear wing. Are there any US manufacturers? Also I am looking to upgrade my exhaust possibly to straight pipe for a throatier sound. Any suggestions on manufacturers?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Jen

THanks. You won't regret it if you take the leap. I guess Houston has a Lotus group that meets the 2nd Saturday of every month at Starwood Motors. I have yet to make it out. But maybe we'll see you around after your big purchase!
FYI, that's Star Motor Cars. Best to look up Lotus Owners of South Texas, (L.O.S.T.) on Facebook. there's been talk of changing the meeting location.
Also check out the Yahoo group page, same name.

That said, welcome to the neighborhood and the whcky world of Lotus ownership. Enjoy the ride!

Cheers,
Al "phonse" B.

Welcome from Longview, Texas.

Number of exhaust options.
Which I narrow down to: i Lotus Sport..., ii Larini Club Sport, iii. (i) or (ii) with 3rd CAT delete, iv Plackslayer straight pipe. Ranking from i to iv in increasing sound and decreasing weight. Personally I like the deeper resonance of the Larini.

GT rear wing, two I know of... From Lotus Racing (contact Allen at VSA Motorsports in Cali.) or Mansory Design version, you would need to search for dealers.
