I was looking at the swan neck, it seems relatively easy to remove and since its a cast aluminum part, should be easy to port to get better flow. My question is has anyone tried to port it to get better flow through it? It looks like a long narrow part with plenty of meat to grind off...

well...

I don't know if any gains or not ? I just ported( mild ) my entire intake track including inlet on my sc

I spent much more time polishing the inside of every piece of my intake which did at least two positives

1: all the grime is gone
2. The casting surface looks about the same on the inside as on the outside. A good sanding effort really knocked casting lines and everything down real slick like:cool:

Any gains ? Notta clue. Did the OCD in me feel efficiency was increased ? absolutely !
