Anybody else have this happen?

The tabs on the top of this panel broke for some reason. I would like to say it was because I pulled so many Gs going around the track, but I don't want to lie. Anybody dealt with this or have a repair suggestion? May also need the part number based on my past DIY results. Thanks.

I would just put the minimum glue possible till it sticks. If it pops again add more. Repeat until it stays, shouldn't be too hard to break the bond if it needs to be opened again
Yeah......anything more than about 3 G's and everything falls apart.
My watch flew out the window at 4g!
The replacement part is pretty cheap from Lotus Garage. I fit my V1 remote in this panel and wanted to keep a spare if I changed my mind.
I got some brass flat stock (the same dimensions as the tabs), cut it to length, performed a slight bend in them to conform to the shape of the panel, then bonded the brass to the plastic with glue and laser welded it all together. It has held up well.
Happened to me too... I think the replacement from my local Lotus dealer was about $40.

Easy to transfer over switches.
It happened to me too. I plan to glue mine.
Glad I'm not the only one. I'll try to make some replacement tabs, but I suspect gluing followed by replacement may be in my future.
