Anyone else notice that the back button doesnt work here at lotustalk? I click on a topic, and then I cant back up to the main page. It is the doubleclick.net advertizer trojan. Just curious if anyone else has this problem?

I have the same issue. I believe the issue is caused by one of the ad banners in rotation at the top of the page.

I "opted out" of doubleclick on the google homepage, but it does not fix the problem. I would get adaware etc, but those apps are worse than the viruses.

Maybe the site owner can do something.... ahem

no substitute for a good virus protection program. Do what I did and get a 'beater' computer for times you think that you may be doing something that could introduce a virus

I been on the pc for about 20 years. There is no more destructive program than a antivirus program. Especially now that microsoft is NOT helping mcafee, nor norton to kill viruses. That means mcafee, and norton have to hack windows just like the hackers. Without facts from microsoft, they are less capable than the virus writers. I also believe that mcafee, and norton have written their own viruses to make themselves a must buy. I know microtrend has done that. They make a virus, give away for free the antivirus program, that detects the virus, and then asks you for $40 to remove it.

I do not use a antivirus program anymore, and my system works pretty good. I have a hook into user32.dll, so I know when a program accesses memory, or disk, so I know that my system is mostly clean. I also dont goto porn sites on *this* machine! My porn machine is ****ed, of course. No pun intended.

When the back button not working properly, if I click on the 'recent pages' button on my IE8 bwroser (can't dl a better browser on the work pc), I don't see a listing of recent sites/pages I've visited. Instead, I see about 25 instances of the following url;

hxxp://View.atdmt.com/UNY/iview/3985081

I believe it is an AdChoices banner ad that is causing this issue.

Right click on the edge of the tool bar (above address), select customize tool bar and left click drag the back forward button into position again and like the picture says, you're done!!
