so, like the title says, I'm looking to borrow an ECU from someone who has an aftermarket one. Of course I'll pay shipping and I'll return it lol
I have a check engine light on but the OBD II port does not work...I've been told that it could be the ECU.

The year would help since they different software
Just try a different reader, the idea of shipping you an ECU just to cross off a small possibility before you're even tried anything else... :facepalm

Man, I'm losing my mind. It's one after the other. I just want troubling free driving already
Try a few different scanners. Not just the cheap ones they use at autozone etc.
