One of those silver reflectors that you put against the windshield to keep the sun out. I would like to get one that fits the Elise. Does anyone know of a source?

adam,
I'm using a showercap I got from 111. I suspect the reflector you speak of would have to be trimmed some, I've got both foldable and roll type in my wife's car I'll try them this weekend just to see what needs to be done.

Thanks Chris. I like the silver roll-up kind as they are easier to store in the cabin. I will look and see who makes the one I have for my Boxster tonight. If you were able to get the height and width it would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Shower-cap actually folds up pretty small. It'll tuck in behind your seat easily. The pouch that holds the Shower-cap is 15" x 7" x 2" (less if you squeeze the air out).

We will have Covercraft create a sunshield for the Elise. Probably won't be ready until later this year. I think there are generic types that you can cut to fit.

This type expands to fit the entire windshield and folds/coils up into a flat circle approx. 1 foot in diameter. Easily stowed beneath/behind the seat I would think. Available at most auto parts stores (maybe Walmart too) for $10-12.

I would not recommend the rigid multi-folding type as they don't fit the entire windshield (they leave gaps) and are too long when folded.

I bought one of these a long time ago at Target.

Sunvisor?? Elise???

As a proof point - needed photo of Elise sunvisor "parked" position and another "deployed" position. Any owners w/ digital camera?

It's entertaining conversation piece to say the least!
Yeah, the pre-production sunvisors are a joke. I guess they saved weight being so slim.

However, it looks like they were enlarged for production, probably so they can fit those airbag warning labels.
