I'm trying to find out what the spring rates and corner weights would be for the stock Elise and also the LSS version. This will give me some idea of just how stiff the two suspensions really are instead of trying to judge by reading subjective reporting only. Does anyone here know, or know where I should look to find it? TIA. -- Rene

Previously posted numbers that looked reliable:

242 lbs/in front, 343 lbs/in rear for standard
271 lbs/in front, 371 lbs/in rear for LSS

That's if I converted the original units correctly...

Keep in mind that you can't directly compares spring rates between different cars, you would also need the motion ratios to calculate the effective wheel rates.

The damping rates are different also - the valving is different.
