NORD-LOCK

on their motor mounts?

If so, could I get your feedback?

Thanks, Rob.

Nordlocks are fantastic for fasteners prone to loosening from vibration. I think some use them on toe links and many porsche owners use them on the CV flanges.

Are you having problems with your motor mounts loosening that blue loctight or nylock nuts wont fix?

I'm using blue loctight now and will see how it works, but I prefer non-glue like solutions.

Thanks for input on the Nordlocks, think I'll try some out and see which works best, blue loctight or Nordlocks.

I put them on rear toe links. Checked once or twice thereafter and found 0 movement.

They are single-use, tho, iirc. After removal they must be replaced.

no experience on motor mount bolts, but I do trust these washers.

I have never heard of the engine mount bolts/nuts came loose. But it's good idea though.
I have for my race applications - 6 bolts were loose (fortunately none fell out) on my car, but I've also heard of others having the same issues. Some pics of what I found after only one race event. Two of the welded nuts on the Lotus mounts had broken and the bolts were very loose.

For street OEM mounts, I don't think it has been a problem.
